This collection of short films and videos offer a dark, surreal view of nature and the landscape. The title comes from a line in Lars Von Trier’s film Antichrist (2009), which explores a psychologically disturbing relationship between the main female character and the woods surrounding her house.
Landscape is an uncertain and ever-changing ground, and what links these chosen works are that they show an edgy side to nature and the landscape, revealing an intense atmosphere and the potential to evoke a response both outside and within.
